Basically we just changed our ideas from doing an e-diary to "máquina de cajero libre"..which means Free (Open Source) cashier machine in spanish. We've got the inspiration to do such project when we went to a local mart looking for rubber duckies.
Most of this stores, e.g 7-eleven and cheers, paid for cashier machine system such as Wincor Nixdorf, Lenovo and Panasonic. Why pay so much for an interface when u can get it for free? Or maybe we'll release it as GPL v.2 and make them pay such machine for a cheaper price. We'll be RICH!!.. WAHAHA.. =P
